Compassion for the Family works with Mexican government entities and other not for profit organizations with the goal of providing the best of services to the women and children whom we serve.

When a family is in such grave danger that they can no longer live in Mexico IMUMI (Immigrant Woman Institute) in Mexico City provides us with legal services needed to send families to other countries.

We are a member of the Red National de Refugios (National Network of Shelters). Membership in this organization allows us to send families to shelters in other states should the need arise. Likewise, we accept families from other shelters throughout the country. Compassion for the Family maintains working agreements with the Center for Justice for Women in the states of Jalisco and Nayarit.

Many families that come to our shelter are referrals from these centers. We maintain a working relationship with Sojourner Center, a shelter in Phoenix, Arizona. Sojouners provides us with the option of sending a family to the US that does not have a secure family network.

We have working agreements with INEA (The National Institute of Adult Education) and ICATEN ( Employment Training Institute for the State of Nayarit) who help us to provide education and jobs training for the women in the shelter.
