Compassion for the Family takes domestic violence against women very seriously. It’s imperative that women and their children be provided safe refuge from abuse. We are committed to providing this service that is so badly needed in Puerto Vallarta, Guanajuato, and the surrounding areas of Mexico. In order to provide this service, Compassion for the Family is maintaining and constructing shelters and drop-in centers in discrete locations, non-disclosure of facility locations is imperative if the organization is to be able to provide a safe refuge.
How You Can Help
Tax-deductible cash, check or credit card donations help us build new shelters and drop-in centers as well as covering the costs of day-to-day operations. If you are local in Puerto Vallarta or Guanajuato, or just visiting the area, we are in continual need of hygiene products, toiletries, luggage, clothing, craft supplies, and cleaning products. Our Services
We provide safe housing, education including ESL, legal procedures assistance, employment opportunities, small no interest business loans to women, psychological and physical health components including child and mom counseling sessions in a nurturing, supportive and non-judgmental environment.
